Fairleigh Dickinson University – Hennessy Hall, Madison NJ
Madison, NJ
Masonry restoration of the rear terrace and fountain of Hennessy Hall at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Work includes deconstruction and restoration of all limestone balustrades and railings and masonry work at the interior of the building mechanical room area and installation of new limestone. Shooting boom forklifts had to be craned onto the site to facilitate the deconstruction and reinstallation of the limestone elements. The fountain is being restored, carved to recreate the original as closely as possible, based on photos and surviving elements than can be duplicated.
